Hey peoples Welcome to Shannonwrightmusic in this article we are talking about Google: Android 13 Beta 2.1 Update Is Available Now. The Android operating system is a mobile operating system that was developed by Google (GOOGL) to be primarily used for touchscreen devices, cell phones, and tablets.
Google launched Android 13 Beta 2 at I/O. While we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next beta drop — due out sometime next month, according to this year’s timeline.
The company isn’t waiting to roll out some bug fixes. Android 13 Beta 2.1 is here, and if you’re running Google’s preview software on a Pixel phone, you’re going to want to update.
Day by day, the next version of Android is coming closer to the public stable release. Meanwhile, the company keeps on adding new traits and attributes to bring out the best firmware.
Google typically reveals a “platform stability” milestone so that developers can know when Google intends on delivering the final SDK/NDK APIs, along with final internal APIs and app-facing system behaviors.
Google intends on reaching platform stability in June 2022, with several weeks at minimum planned before the official release. Android 12 hit platform stability in August of 2021 and the final version was released in October of that year.
Android 13 will have to play a pivotal role, by building a more connected space for all Android-based devices.
The company revealed that the number of activations of Android phones exceeded 1 billion in the last year, with over 3 billion monthly active Android devices.

Google: Android 13 Beta 2.1 Update Is Available Now
Earlier this month, during Google I/O 2022, the Big G dropped the second beta of Android 13. We expected the third beta to launch sometime in June, but some issues within the second beta simply couldn’t wait, it seems.
Google dropped Android 13 beta 2.1. This is a subtle upgrade over this month’s earlier beta. It doesn’t appear to bring any new features, but it does fix some of the very annoying bugs users have faced since Google I/O.
Android Auto is also finally getting a fix with this patch after users complained of crashes and black screens in the current build. Google describes today’s release as a minor update meant as a bug fix, so you shouldn’t expect to find any new features or hidden changes.
Android 13 Beta 2.1 should be rolling out to users now, but you can grab the OTA file from Google’s developer site to update manually if you’re impatient. If you were waiting to jump into the beta program, this update squashes many of the bugs that might’ve kept you away.
According to the release notes, four issues based on end-user and developer reports have been addressed with Android 13 Beta 2.1, which is officially a “minor update” and also includes stability improvements:
a. Fixed an issue where typing in the search bar resulted in a blank list of suggestions.
b. Fixed an issue where devices would crash and restart when turning on the hotspot.
c. Fixed an issue where a continuous call dialing sound could be heard in the background during a phone call.
d. Fixed an issue where devices would crash and restart after disconnecting from Android Auto.
As with all previous versions of Android 13, this update is available for Pixel phones from the Pixel 4 onward. Unfortunately, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a devices are not supported.
The Android 13 Beta update is available with build version TPBB.220414.018 and lands on the May 2022 security patch. Further, it carries a package size of 11.80MB. Currently, the Android 13 Beta 2.1 update is only available for Pixel phones.
