Hey peoples Welcome to Shannonwrightmusic in this article we are talking about  REALME GT 2 PRO LONG TERM REVIEW: THE ‘FLAGSHIP KILLER’ KILLER. Realme is known for its budget phones, but the GT 2 Pro marks the company’s first step into the flagship market, and it does it well.

Realme phone has the better camera qualities, although the pictures are a bit brighter. The realme 8 has deficits in terms of color management.

Realme recently dropped its flagship smartphone GT 2 Pro in India. While the company recently revealed the vanilla GT 2, it was the flagship GT 2 Pro that impressed us in our hands-on review.

Realme GT 2 PRO Long Term Review: The ‘Flagship Killer’ Killer

Realme GT 2 Pro is one of India’s most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphones in the country. So as the latest flagship killer to grace Indian soils, let’s find out of the Realme GT 2 Pro is worth considering.

The tech brand has been upping the ante with each of its mainstream releases over the past couple of years.

With the Realme GT 2 Pro, it has finally come into its element as an established brand. To wit, the GT 2 Pro might very well be the most polished smartphone from the brand yet.

According to Realme, it is made of a bio-based polymer that leads to 35.5% lesser carbon emissions, and the overall packaging per million units leads to an equivalent of 3.5 million fewer plastic bottles (size not specified) being produced.

Realme GT 2 Pro, as the company claims, is indeed their ‘most premium flagship ever’, but that’s not it. Most of its key features are eerily similar to those of the OnePlus 10 Pro which sells at a significantly higher price point.

That leaves little doubt about who its prime target is. Can the GT 2 Pro pull off a giant killing act.

With the GT 2 Pro, you don’t get wireless charging or an official IP rating. The remaining specifications are pretty good, though, so it’s not bad.

But does the Realme GT 2 Pro live up to the expectations? Let’s get down to business, shall we? Read this Realme GT 2 Pro review to know more.

Realme GT 2 PRO Long Term Review: The ‘Flagship Killer’ Killer

The quality of their mobile is good. I am using realme 1 for the last 9 odd months, and I am happy with the overall performance of the phone. My phone (Realme GT 2 PRO) is experiencing a bit of lag from the last update of security recently.

You’ll find a camera  resolution gets a more detailed image that can be zoomed in digitally or printed on a larger scale without becoming blurry or grainy compared to 12MP, 48MP, and 64MP cameras.

    REALME GT 2 PRO Specification

Realme GT 2 Pro pricing in India starts at Rs. 49,999 for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and goes up to Rs. 57,999 for the top-of-the-line variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

It is supposed to feel like paper to touch; almost, but not exactly. It is quite elegant though and easy on the eyes, also helps in keeping the weight under 190 grams. If you find it a tad plasticky and prefer glass, there’s always the Steel Black variant with a glass back.

The screen resolution stands at 3216 x 1440 pixels, which translates into a 525 PPI pixel density. The HDR10+ compliant display can get up to 1400 nits bright and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to protect it from scratches and cracks.

    Brand Realme
    Screen Resolution 3216 x 1440
    Storage 128 GB , 256 GB
    Ram 8 GB  , 128 GB
    Screen Glass Gorilla Glass
Touch Screen Yes, Capacitive Touchscreen, Multi-touch

The rear camera combination on the Realme GT 2 Pro is quite interesting and impressive at the same time. There are two 50MP cameras, the primary with a Sony IMX766 sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS) and the ultra-wide shooter with a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor.

The third (3MP) camera at the back is quite unique with a micro lens and acts as a microscope to magnify objects 20 times over. There are no telephoto or macro cameras on the GT 2 Pro.

The third camera is a 2-megapixel microscopic shooter. I would have preferred a telephoto lens instead since not everyone uses a microscopic camera extensively. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

The Realme GT 2 Pro runs the latest Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0. It does add some customisation on top of stock Android UI, but the latest iteration of Realme UI is quite polished and user friendly.

REALME GT 2 PRO Other Details :

It is good to see that the Realme GT 2 Pro doesn’t make any concessions on the performance front. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, making it the second phone to use the chip in India’s sub-50 segment.

There is one thing it could have done without though, and that’s the amount of bloatware preinstalled on the phone. The good part is that most of it can be uninstalled; still, an unnecessary chore for the user to engage in.

You get a solid all-rounder with a pleasant design, excellent 2K display with variable refresh rate, flagship processing hardware, impressive camera department, latest Android with a user-friendly UI, good battery backup with fast charging and more under Rs 50,000.

The camera bump here is very similar to the camera bump on Realme 9 Pro+, and the signature of designer Naoto Fukazawa, as well as the Realme branding, are located on the right side of the camera island.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs )

What is better vivo or Realme?

In terms of screen quality, both phones are quite good but the Realme X is more engaging than the Vivo S1. Everything feels lighter and brighter, with a bit more pop and better contrast. The same videos looked crisper and more vibrant.15-Aug-2019

Which is better Realme or Xiaomi?

Realme phones offer higher camera quality and better customer service but Xiaomi is the better option overall by having slightly superior specs and battery. Their high market share allows them to give better products at a lower price which makes them a very attractive choice for customers on a budget.

Does higher MP mean better camera?

It’s no longer true that the higher a camera’s megapixel count the better. The only thing more megapixels will give you is the ability to enlarge and crop pictures without individual pixels becoming visible.

Which is best between Realme and Redmi?

When it comes to performance, both TVs run the same 64-bit Quad-Core processor, but the Xiaomi features a better GPU. The Mali G52 in the Q1E is better than the Mali 470 in Realme SLED. Xiaomi also offers more RAM and storage, 2GB and 32GB on the Xiaomi compared to 1.5 GB and 16GB on Realme.
